Effect of Heat Treatment on the Microstructure and Mechanical Properties of Selective Laser-Melted Ti64 and Ti-5Al-5Mo-5V-1Cr-1Fe

چکیده
Additive manufacturing (AM) has shown the ability in processing titanium alloys. However, due to unique thermal history AM, microstructure of AM-fabricated parts is metastable and non-equilibrium. This work was aiming tailor improve mechanical properties α+β Ti-6Al-4V alloy β Ti-5Al-5Mo-5V-1Cr-1Fe alloys by manipulating post-process heat treatment. The results showed that exhibited a α’ martensite as-fabricated condition, while structure formed as-printed Ti-5Al-5Mo-5V-1Cr-1Fe. After treatment, both lamellar bimodal microstructures were obtained Ti64 Especially, subjected 950 °C annealing with highest fracture toughness 90.8 ± 2.1 MPa.m1/2. one cyclically heat-treated excellent combined strength, ductility attributed structure.
